Keeping on view, the proclamation of human rights by the general assembly, the United Nation Organization, on 10th Dec, 1948, HRWF Nepal is legally established in 2001 so as to accomplish the objectives of the global peace movements for the protection of human rights guaranteed by the human rights instruments. After its establishment, it has been conducting advocacy for human rights, peace and democracy. Since it is a branch office of HRWF International, it has been guiding by the highly experienced International expertise.

It is capable to conduct various activities on human rights issues. It has districts representatives in one third districts of Nepal.

To draw the attention of government of Nepal on degrading status of human rights, we invited international fact finding mission group led by President of Human Rights Without Frontier, International, Mr. Willy Fautre, at the end of 2004
